Pros

Fun and quick: Because games in this app can take no more than a minute, you can almost always fit one in. But you do have to be careful, too, because the game can be so addictive, you'll have reeled off five games in a row before you know it.

Friendly challenges: Competing with friends is a great way to keep this game interesting and engaging. While you might lose interest in beating your own best score again and again, showing up your friends in Game Center or on Facebook really never gets old.

Cons

Audio time warning: Since this is a timed game, it's important to know how much time you have left. The game does a good job of letting you know what's left on the clock if you have the audio turned on. But if you're playing with the sound off, there are no visual clues that alert you to the fact that you're almost out of time. If you want to see how much time is left, you have to look at the clock, which will almost certainly lower your score because of the interruption in your concentration.

Bottom Line

Bejeweled Blitz is a fun way to enjoy Bejeweled on the go. You can play it anywhere, and it's so quick to learn that players of all experience levels can enjoy it. The app is free, and there are some ads that pop up, but they don't generally disrupt the gameplay experience.
