This free BEETmobile Hotspot App turns a PC into a personal W-LAN Hotspot. Friends, family, business partners as well as an arbitrary number of W-LAN compliant devices can easily and securely share your Internet connection via this Hotspot. No additional hardware is required. Regardless whether it concerns the set-up or expansion of your home WLAN by means of a WLAN-Repeater, a personal Hotspot on the go or preventing costly data-roaming abroad. Your personal contacts can also be informed about your Hotspot via Facebook, Twitter and/or other channels of communication. The Hotspot App is one of the most secure solutions in sharing own's internet connection. All of BEETmobile's WLAN-Services rely on encrypted communication according to the most current security standard "WPA 2 PSK", which includes a verification of the minimum password quality. In addition, the App has a timer that turns the WLAN off at a time pre-defined by the user. The live-display informs one of all connected devices, their data throughput (how fast data is transferred via the Hotspot) as well as the Volume (entire data amount that has passed through the network).
