Editors’ Review
Batch Image Resizer for Mac enables you to alter and resize multiple images at once, while making image tweaks along the way. The interface is easy to navigate, and the software carries out its stated function efficiently.
Pros
Good layout: This app's interface is clear, with a space on the right to add the files you want to adjust, and a panel on the left where you can enter your preferences. As you work your way down the left side, you'll make selections for scaling, rotation, and border. You also have the option of adding a watermark to your images and determining their opacity and placement.
Saving options: You also have several options when it comes to saving your new, resized files. For instance, you can opt to overwrite the original images or save the altered images to a new path. You can choose a prefix or suffix to attach to all new files as well, or you can pick an entirely new file name.
Cons
Trial limitations: The trial version only allows you to process three images at a time. Because the purpose of this software is to resize batches of images, it would be nice to be able to test its ability to handle large batches before deciding to purchase.
Bottom Line
Batch Image Resizer is easy to use, and it performs its stated function well. The trial restriction may limit your ability to test it out, though.
