King Derwin of Didd is tired of just snow, fog, sunshine and rain coming down from the sky. When he orders his royal magicians to create something new, they concoct greenish blobs called "oobleck" that fall from the sky to the delight of the king. The gooey oobleck, however, soon gets bigger and bigger until it overtakes the entire kingdom, including the king himself!
