In addition to Syndicate 1955, the Group includes a non-Lloyds Financial Solutions business, underwritten by Barbican Reinsurance Company Limited, based in Guernsey. Barbican Reinsurance Company Ltd provides the Funds at Lloyds on behalf of Syndicate 1955.Also based in Guernsey, Barbican Channel Islands is a domestic underwriting business using our capacity in Lloyds to provide commercial insurance solutions for the Channel Islands marketplace. The Barbican Group also includes Professional Indemnity specialist PI Protect which was acquired by Barbican in March 2012 and underwrites a broad range of professions in the UK and Ireland via regional brokers.
