• time saver for typing the same phrases repeatedly

  Pros

  works with virtually any application. provides preview of the text to be inserted prior to acceptance, very fast and doesn't slow you down waiting for the app to identify abbreviations

  Cons

  could use some improved tools for creating and managing autotext entries such as context menu option to add highlighted text. crashed a few times trying to manage library when initially installed but appears to be better in later versions

  Summary

  I tried this app in an effort to replace one I formerly used (Robotype) which is not compatible with Vista or Windows 7. After an initial adjustment period from years of using my old application I must say I am generally impressed with this one. I find it very helpful when chatting online where I tend to use similar statements in multiple conversations. It is certainly worth checking out the free 30 day trial.
