  Pros

  I have used the trial version of Auto-Typer for work related purposes - the software helped me save time by automating the input of dates into single keystrokes. Once the trial version ended, I've tried similar programs from other companies, but they were either not as user-friendly or too expensive.

  Cons

  Sometimes lags a little in translating key-strokes to the stored text. This mostly happens only right after the program starts up.

  Summary

  If you do not need the extra features provided by other software in the market, Auto-Typer offers the best value for your money.

  Extremely inconsistent performance. I cannot over emphasize INCONSISTENT. It worked, it didn't work, depending (maybe)on which programs I had open. Even when I didn't change anything except which Web site I was at, I rarely got the same result, no matter which keys I assigned to perform auto typing tasks. Even the "provide feedback" link did not work. I paid the license fee to see if that would make a difference. It did not. I use Win7. Good luck to anyone trying to use this program. I'm going to try another auto typer as this one is not at all useful given how easy it should be to use. My level of experience is quite high and I'm good at troubleshooting; but this is nothing but trouble with no easy solutions.
