• Terrible. Get something else.

  Pros

  Once was an easy to use program with a simple interface.

  Cons

  Now is a dud, that won't install properly. Can't find itself as a server and won't install in a standalone mode.

  Summary

  I had to wait for nearly a week to receive registration keys, after shelling out $225 for three versions of this monstrosity. I wouldn't have gotten the keys by then if I didn't start raising a fuss. I managed to find a number to the parent company that sells this abortion of a PC time clock, called and stated I would have the charges reversed, which prompted someone to ignore the request to call me back. Lo and behold the registration keys should up on the invoice for my receipt after that. This is an inexpensive time clock, but it is terribly unsupported unless you pay them extra money. Bad. Don't buy it. You'll probably end up sorry.

  CUSTOMER SERVICE? WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ? THERE ISN'T ANY. NOW, THE PHONE NUMBER DOESN'T WORK. YOU SEND THEM A EMAIL, THEY DON'T RESPOND.

  Pros

  They use to be a company that you could call and have them help you. Now they don't have a phone number unless you pay for it. If they have not lost you information from previous orders they are decent. Sometimes they respond to your inquiries. The software is fine if you don't have to work with the people selling it.

  Cons

  We have used attendview for years. We needed to add 10 more employees so we paid the $50. They responded via email that we had not purchased a version that would support the number of people that we have. So we spent the money to get the larger version. That was about 20 days ago. We have found another software that has people on the other end of a phone number. Not just a person emailing back and forth who will eventually stop corresponding. We have had to go to our financial institution to get the money returned. While the $153 is not a big deal the lack of customer care that they demonstrate is amazing.

  Summary

  In summary, do research with other companies that have a person to talk to. If you are not planning on growing your business Attendview may be perfect for you. Maybe that is their philosphy as well. Maybe now I can get a phone call back. I won't be holding my breath.

• Simple, straightforward, and solid product

  Pros

  Very easy to setup for our admin department. Reports are easy to run. All the settings are very clearly laid out in front of you. Price is excellent too and very affordable for the mature product this is. Support is excellent with supportive staff

  Cons

  None really. I'd like the download size to be smaller, but these days 18mb isn't much over broadband.

  Summary

  The entire package is great. From the pricing to support to settings, everything is there. It's extremely easy to configure and even easier to use. We have multiple clock in stations and with a quick glance anyone can see who's in and who's not. We also have employees which use the software on the road. Once they connect to our VPN, Attendview just works! Exactly as if they were in our office. We had some questions on pricing. The staff was very helpful and the pricing very clear and straight forward.

• Big waste of time :(

  Pros

  Had no change to discover any, since even installation failed...

  Cons

  I installed it on our 2003 server, rebooted... 2 AVs, 1 crashes, nothing works. Tried again (closed all firewalls, rebooted again), looked like it worked. Started the client and received "Error communicating with server...". <p> <p>Help file is no help, program itself has a very strange and unclear UI (no hint how to configure client, ports etc.). <p> <p>Big waste of time (at least for me and in our 2003 server network).
