Top-notch graphics, a wide variety of enemies, and an awesome shipboard arsenal make this ostensibly standard space shooter highly addictive. AstroAvenger pits your space fighter against vertically scrolling waves of enemy fighters backed up by missile cruisers and mammoth capital ships. The captivating graphics set the carefully shaded spacecraft against a gorgeous backdrop of purple nebulae and spinning moons. Eerie music evokes the vastness of space. Destroyed enemies drop power-ups, and between rounds you can trade captured booty to upgrade your ship. The mix of opponents and weaponry is so well-handled, you hardly notice each round is basically structured the same as the last. Experienced gamers will finish the demo's one level in less than the provided hour, but three grades of difficulty encourage replaying. Fans of shooting games should take AstroAvenger for a test flight.

Pros
+ Just keeps getting better and better.
+ Graphics are pretty neat and clear.
+ Crazy gameplay, especially after the first half of the game.
+ Cool new enemies.
+ Cool new upgrades and weapons.
+ Easy controls.
+ Brilliant explosions.
+ Even the installer looks neat. The agreement statement is well written and I believe its even proof read!
+ Only 20 bucks and worth every penny.
+ If you ever get bored you should get this game.
Cons
- Only thing is the background could be a little more varied.

Pros
Amazing gameplay wrapped up in a beautiful 3D package. It gets a bit tough about 3/4 the way through (I died numerous times) but it still felt that it was ME blowing it and not the game.

Easy to control and absolutely gorgeous explosions. You can also buy upgrades and fight your way through increasingly tougher bad guys...just like you would expect. However, what you wont expect is just how good it all is together. Some toughness issues aside, it's good blasting fun. I would say that I played for about 10-15 hours to finish it (which is great for a shooter).
Cons
nothing
