Aros Magic Viewer is world's fastest photo viewer, with parallel-processing magiXcan technology built-in! This makes it 10X faster for JPEG file loading on a quad-core computer as compared to a standard implementation. So take advantage of all your cores. Besides its high speed, Aros Magic Viewer has many other useful features as well, including direct connectivity to many online services. This enables quick and convenient access to a wide variety of photo-enabled websites like Google image search, Facebook/Twitter multi-file updates, etc. It also has: enlargement of small images to reveal hidden details;resolution-independent renditions of digital photos; drag-and-drop support; slideshows; Unicode compliance; multi-language capability; an intuitive zoom control and Web browser integration with IE and Firefox. Acceleration for other major formats (e.g. GIF, TIFF, PNG) in the works, but they are also supported.
LARGE pics are "overcompensated" for. Use Aros for smaller pics.
Summary
My goodness... time flies. I have used ArosViewer for a number of years. One of the few programs downloaded from the Web I actually bought.
For ten bucks I believe it was a good deal.
Easy to use. Handy.
Increases my enjoyment of smaller pics.
I have Version 1 but it appears to be of no real difference than Ver. 2
I lost the password a few years back when grabbing a new electronic brain thing and had to cry out "HELP!!!!" to the Aros Web site and the folks sent me a password decoding thingy lickety-split.
Faster than a bag of Old MacDonalds' french fries... those skinny little wimpy things.
I much prefer crinkle-cut fries. A real man's fry!!!!!!!
Ever notice that crinkle-cut fry ridges allow the fry to grasp and hold whatever concoction thou art dipping into if thou ART dipping yer' fries?
Oh, Aros Viewer.
Glad I bought it.
No complaints here.
I believe I was using Win95 B version when first obtained then as Msoft advance and retreated across the years and gas prices fluctuated as my heart beat does when ambling down bikini beach good old Aros hung in there with me.
Currently using Win XP and Aros functions fine.
I like XP
Don't ever have to drop down into that DOS command line stuff anymore.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
