Summary
I use Arora as my primary browser on my older (spare) laptop. It's a lightweight browser without a lot of bells-and-whistles, but for everyday surfing it's all most folks will need. My only issues with it are pretty nitpicky-- no home page, and rare website incompatibility (example, can't use Amazon), and if you open a lot of tabs (7+) at the same time, it tends to crash. A lot of the previous commenter's complaints have been addressed in later builds. CNET offers the 0.10.0, but search around and you'll find a more stable 0.10.2, and even the 0.11 build 2 that I use (hint: look up "Kousuke dev") which is quite good.
My biggest quibble is with that slow development-- my 0.11 version dates to February 2011. Arora's lead developer was compelled to leave the project due to conflict of interest concerns with his new job, and this is now being tended to by a group of loosely affiliated hobbyists. I do not expect any great leaps forward as a result.
Overall I enjoy Arora, and am willing to put up with its minor quirks-- any true hiccups or incompatibility, and I'll switch to my secondary browser (SRWare Iron, criminally underrated). For my older and occasionally creaky laptop, this browser's small footprint and ease of use are all I really need. If Arora keeps up its development though, I would have no problems making it my primary browser for daily use.

Pros
Fast startup
Stable
No crashes or freeze-ups(yet)
Cons
Basic UI interface
No themes
No "home" button
Some problems rendering pages. (May be the site itself not recognizing Arora yet.)
Summary
Recommendable as a back-up browser.
Still alot to develop but if one just wants to browse and not do anything highly complicated, Arora is fine.
Surprisingly a good browser.

Summary
I have tried this-the Windows version of Arora, this browser and it is good. Normally on Windows webkit browsers do not always work so well but this one does. It plays videos without any problems and recognized my flash play, unlike some webkit browsers. At first glance the icon looks like a brand of Firefox but it is not. After installation there was no desktop icon but you can just add that to your desktop from the start menu. I have tried both the Windows version and the Linux version on Linux Mint and they both work. With the Windows version being slightly faster and this browser is very light and does not take up a lot of space on the hard drive. My only complaint was there is no home page button on the toolbar. So every time I wanted to go to Google my home page I had to type it in the address search bar. But apart from that this browser works well. It is worth getting if you are looking for an additional browser or a spare one. Andrea Borman.

Updated on Nov 9, 2011
Update- DOES NOT WORK ON SOME WEBSITES NOW- I have been using Arora browser for several months now. Then a few weeks ago when I went on You Tube with this browser,I got a message saying-"Your browser is no longer supported, please upgrade to a newer browser."I was surprised at this as I know that if you visit You Tube with IE6 or Netscape Navagator you get the same message. And My Space and some other sites do not support IE6 or Netscape. But Arora is a webkit browser and not that old. But when I checked the browser in one of those browser sniffer sites that tell you what browser you are using-it said I was using Safari 2! So it seems that Arora is based on an earlier version of Safari browser. Also I found that sometimes I could not log into my Google account due to a HTML problem with this browser. So it seems this browser,Arora has not been updated since 2009,when other webkit browser have been. Which is why it is not working on some websites. So I had to uninstall this browser.

Updated on Nov 9, 2011
Arora is no longer supported on a lot of website-It would not display me email s correctly in Hotmail or Gmail. And some times it would not even let me log into Gmail. For when I logged into Gmail, sometimes it logged me out again with an error message, saying there was a fault with my browser. which is no good at all. Even IE6 and Netscape let me log into Gmail and displayed my emails. But Arora did not. So unless they update this browser it is not worth using now. Andrea Borman.

I can't really review it because it's new and it can't compete with others YET. But i think that soon Arora could be a competitor to IE and Firefox in my opinion
