Arithmemouse Times Tables, created to appeal to both boys and girls, is a video game designed to help give children the confidence that comes from learning one of the fundamental foundations of mathematics-- multiplication facts. In Arithmemouse, the player is represented by "Arithmemouse," a robot mouse who learns his times tables facts in virtual environments. Play is intuitive in Arithmemouse Times Tables. Little robots called "tip mice" aid and encourage the player throughout the game. Arithmemouse uses simple controls-- the arrow keys to move and the space bar to jump. Arcade skills required are minimal with practice jumping steps in the first world prompted by a tip mouse. Arrows pointing the right way to go are on many walls. The player's goal is to use the correct number box for the given question to exit each times challenge room. Correct number boxes are used as platforms, teleporters and triggers to gain access to the times challenge room's exit. Arithmemouse is about learning; absent from Arithmemouse are life meters, violence, and punishments for failure.

A super fun way to practice math facts.

Pros
Arithmemouse is a really neat game. The graphics are fantastic. My two kids (3rd and 4rth graders) both like it. Their knowledge of math facts has improved greatly in the two weeks since we purchased the game.
Cons
How do I get my kids to stop arguing over whose turn it is to play?

Pros
I purchased Arithmemouse for my third grade classroom. The kids love practicing their multiplication facts with Arithmemouse. The graphics are really neat. I like that the game is non-violent and that children are not punished for wrong answers.
Cons
I would like some type of summary of each child's progress. I contacted Tinman Learning and was informed that this is in the works.
Summary
I can tell Arithmemouse is an effective tool because test scores for my class on weekly timed tests have improved dramatically. What is really great is the fact that they now enjoy practicing.
What a great game! Lots of fun! My daughter LOVES IT!

Pros
I am delighted that my daughter is finally excited about learning her multiplication facts--after dinner she heads straight for the computer and Arithmemouse! No more arguments over flashcard practice. No more long faces over failed timed tests.
Cons
I wish that we had discovered Arithmemouse earlier--we could have save ourselves alot of grief. Now my daughter is at the top of her class!

I can't get my daughter to stop playing Arithmemouse. Now she is flying through her timed tests each week--top of the class!

I wish Arithmemouse was available for subtraction, addition, and division as well.

Pros
I like the fact that Arithmamouse is so visually appealing. The graphics are clean and modern--unlike anything else I have seen. I also like the fact that it is non-violent.
Cons
I don't like that this game wasn't available when my first was struggling to learn his math facts. Luckily my other two will be able to benefit!
