ArGoSoft Mail Server .NET continues traditions of older Win32 based mail servers. It uses advanced database engine, and contains managed code (.NET) which make it reliable, efficient, and fast. The difference in speed is more noticeable with IMAP and the Web interface. It supports SMTP/ESMTP, POP3, IMAP protocols, and complete direct delivery service via MX records, smart server, or relay service. It includes support of Delivery Status Notification (DSN) ESMTP extension and Secondary SMTP.

Nice but buggy and complicated

Pros
Security is improved over Argosoft's Mail Server Pro Quick response to support questions.
Cons
Difficult to install. Documentation either unavailable or well hidden. Web interface setup very cumbersome. Help screens are not very helpful.
Summary
This is supposed to be an upgrade/improvement to Mail Server Pro. My plan was to replace my old server with a new system and upgrade to "Mail Server .net" After getting questions answered while struggling with the installation for two days (with multiple re-installs of the OS) ,only to find out that after a system reboot, it wouldn't send any mail. I have decided to go with something that works and stay with the old reliable "Mail Server Pro".
