Simple, easy, and addictive, this quick game lets you fling arrows at targets until you've had enough. Archery has just about everything you'd expect in a touch-screen archery game, but not much else.

Archery's main interface is very simple with three options: Play, Instruction, and High Score. The commands are very simple, too -- just slide your finger on the bow's string to aim and release to shoot. You can move your finger up and down before you release to change the angle of the arrow's flight. After a few tries, it becomes fairly easy to hit the bull's-eye just about every time. You get 20 arrows per round and can score as high as 1,000. However, once you've reached the 900-point mark, the game loses most of its charm. Adjustable difficulty or a second or third level could help fix that, but you won't find it here.

Downloading only takes a few seconds and the app's ads are light on data use. If you have a few quick minutes that need killing, Archery will do the job. Just don't expect to play more than a few times without being bored.
