Apimac Slideshow is a slideshow and presentation tool for multimedia files, movies, sounds and images that allows you to quickly and easily create slideshow presentations and portfolios that can be distributed as freestanding programs for Mac and Windows or as movie files optimized for YouTube, CD-ROMs, the Web, iPod, mobile devices and computers. It is fast to learn and easy to use. Apimac Slideshow lets you personalize a presentation, adapting it to the most varied needs. You can create presentations and slideshows that can be manually or automatically controlled and personalize the presentation with colored backgrounds, use multiple soundtracks and show images and movies along with their names and custom text. Apimac Slideshow can handle a wide range of graphic and multimedia formats: QuickTime Movies, QuickTime VR Movies, MP3, MPEG, AutoDesk Animator (FLC), AIFF, AU, WAVE, DV, OpenDML audio files, and all the main graphic formats such as JPEG, TIFF, Pict, Photoshop, PNG, MacPaint, GIF, animated GIF, Windows Bitmap BMP and SGI.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I heard about this app in a photojournalism class I took and bought it right away. This app is perfect for photographers looking for jobs, or to just share their portfolio. The shows work flawlessly on both windows and mac. If this app supported more color management features and the abbility to get captions from the embeded caption field from IPTC and auto display them in the show every photographer would buy a copy if not two.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Handy little slide show app. Easy to use, straight forward. I really liked being able to save the slide shows. I do wish, however, that the user had the ability to skip to the next slide or go back to a previous slide while in automatic mode. That's a must that will prevent me from purchasing it until it has that ability. I also wish it integrated with my iTunes library when selecting music for the soundtrack. Promising app. I'll stay tuned for the next release.

I really needed a good, easy to use slideshow for Mac & PC, I payed for the pro edition & The slideshows for PC's do not work (not even basic, simple click for next slide slideshows). I feel Ive been robbed as they do not seem to be bothered about fixing this & they are touting it as a product feature. Is this criminal?
