Works Flawlessly, Great Program

Pros
We are starting a printing business and needed a tool to bid out color copies on our printer. I downloaded this onto my Windows XP 2Quad 2.66Ghz computer and started testing it. Seems to run flawlessly. Simply click on the icon in the tray, and choose what you want to measure: PDF's, Tiff's, JPG's, even an area on the screen (quite cool). Gives an almost instant report. The downloaded version includes "pro". But since I will not be doing spot overlay printing, I did not need the capability of CMYK coverage. A general color coverage is all I need (I think).

Have not discovered any downsides yet.

Cons
I downloaded and installed it. Tried the screen calculation and got some numbers that were way out. Tried the page calculation and discovered I had to install Ghostscript. I found Ghostscript, downloaded the latest version, installed it as well as several other programs needed (redmon). Tried the page calculation again and it failed. Did research and discovered it only works with Ghostcsript 8.14 so I went through the whole installation process again and tried the page coverage again. The program put a big "EVALUATION COPY" banner across the page and failed to complete the calculation. Could not get the program to calculate the coverage despite several hours. <p>The program is very slow in calculations and screen redraws to the point that it almost seems like the computer is hung. <p>The help file is full of grammatical and spelling errors. It is also very simplistic and provides almost no help info. <p>The program has an inherent problem in that it's calculations are not based on what the printer will use but are based on the page displayed on the monitor. The calculations are also dependent on the displayed resolution of the page image.
