Animal Puzzle Game for Toddler APK for Android

Softdiv's Animal Puzzle Game for Toddler keeps little ones busy and entertained while they learn fine motor skills and visual cognition. As the name suggests, this free app is more or less an Android rendition of the classic wooden picture puzzle for very young children. Youngsters drag shapes into outlines, aided by sound effects.

Pros

Easy to play: With no more than three or four shapes per animal, and many in single pieces, Animal Puzzle Game for Toddler is suitable for any child old enough to swipe a finger on a touchscreen.

Sound effects: Audible feedback lets players know when they've latched on to a piece. Fitting the right piece results in a happy tone, but a miss (or near-miss) produces a mild "boing."

Plenty of puzzles: More than a dozen puzzles keep your child challenged.

Cons

Near misses don't count: Moves will "boing" if not placed carefully, which can confuse a child who knows the shape matches the outline.

Sound always on: Apparently you can't turn off the sound in Animal puzzle Game for Toddler, other than turning your device's sound down, which may not be convenient. Of course, if the game is making noise, your child probably isn't: That's a win.

Bottom Line

Animal Puzzle Game for Toddler is probably best played on a tablet instead of a smartphone. Its colorful background and friendly animal characters will keep the smiles coming.
