This software which syncs without the internet is a lif

My information is not being captured and sent elsewhere by the software. Some software says they do not capture information but if you disconnect your Wi-Fi the software does not work

Pros
Syncs when selecting 'Android-sync' account as the exchange interface. An immediate re-sync shows no more changes needed.
Cons
Unreliable sync when selecting Google/exchange account. Always finds changes following an immediate re-sync. The Google account was tried because using the 'Andoid-sync' account meant no linking to guests or participants were possible.
Summary
30 bucks for a half developed idea is too expensive. And as others found there were no replies to logged problems (even with exported log sent). They just want to take your cash and say ciao! CNet should allow zero star ratings too but as you see nothings perfect!!

-Contacts were duplicated and sometimes tripled. -Same event was replicated numerous times. -Lacks adequate technical support -Lack of response to inquiries -Lack of communication when product fails to meet expectation -Has not honored 60 day non-questions asked money back guarantee after 15 business days and no response for the email address on the website -tried to give ZERO stars but it wasn't allowed -Useless product caused more time and effect than if I had entered everything twice -Waste of money and time to purchase a product that fails to do what it specifies it should do -no contact information other than email to which no one responds to -horrible product

I was able to download and install the software. However, there will duplicate and sometimes triplets of the same event and contact. After following all the support information to remove everything to re-add it. Events and Contacts remained the same with multiple and triple effect. As stated on their website, "60 DAY NO-QUESTIONS-ASKED MONEY BACK GUARANTEE - If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, we'll refund your entire purchase for a full refund. - No questions asked! All you have to do is just drop us an email: sales@android-sync.com" I emailed them and included an explanation as to why I wanted the refund. It has been over 15 business days without a response for them nor have I received my refund. This product is useless and they have yet to respond to my emails and they don't list a phone number to contact anyone. Totally useless and a waste of money.

Installed well and worked well for about 6 months.
Cons
My computer crashed, so I rebuilt it (Win 7 Pro x64). Same OS, same software, etc. When I reinstalled android-sync it now syncs calendars and tasks, but not notes or contacts. The error is a common MAPI error that can be googled, it has to do with using a local data file call, as opposed to using a global one. I even upgraded my phone to KitKat 4.4... didn't help at all. I opened a ticket with the android-sync people, and even got a Help Desk ticket number... that's all... ever. I kept trying to contact them... crickets! I've worked in IT for 17 years, all I need is a clue from them about what to look at or change, but you'll never get them to answer your email if you have a problem.

Their customer support is non existent. There's a reason the program is currently getting a 2-star rating. If you're lucky enough to get it working in first install, great... if not you'll have to uninstall and look for something else. It syncs fine from Outlook to my Galaxy S. Good price too. I can't really fault it. I've been using this app for nearly a year and it seems to work well.
Cons
If I weren't spooked by the negative comments from previous users, I thought the product does what it says. On the other hand, it does help to add support contact details. Sometimes the contacts are messed up due to new apps such as WhatsApp, etc being installed. This can't be helped as each app is ignorant of the other app. So you just have to be aware of this problem and manually correct them when they occur.
Summary
As good as other (more expensive) apps out there. Just need contact details to be included for those having problems.

Absolutely no support. Product screwed up all my contacts and you can not turn off contacts and just use calendar and tasks.

IT ERASED MY CALENDAR ON MY MOTOROLA DROID.

SEND THREE E-MAILS SO FAR AND NO ANSWER. I PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE AND IT DOES NOT WORK! THERE IS NO "CONTACT US" SO YOU ARE ON THEIR MERCY!!

If it worked, a relatively lightweight way to sync notes and contacts from Outlook to Android. IF IT WORKED.
Cons
Totally unreliable. Does not reliably sync contacts. Often created duplicates while at the same time not syncing many contacts. Tech support simply does not exist as far as I can tell. You get an automated email, but never EVER any real response. I currently have FOUR Case IDs, assigned by those automated emails, but have never EVER gotten any response to the cases. No ability to contact other than that email, which effectively means no ability to contact.
Summary
This is a reprehensible company with terrible support apparently interested in nothing other than marketing a product which is effectively vaporware, and for which they have absolutely no ability or willingness to support. It is one of my worst purchases in history, and I've been trying to get a refund. Unfortunately, they simply do not respond. Under no circumstances should any person ever consider any product associated with this product, or this vendor.
