you don't need to be an artist to work with amberlight, that's the best characteristic of this app for me so far - many beautiful gradients at your disposal and option to create your own - I am simply amazed how easy it is to create nice pictures, change of few parameters make the whole work look different

i haven't found a way to animate colors, maybe i missed something?

Summary
I was having so much fun with Amberlight 2 that I decided and bought the full version. Now I can set custom scene size and save my pictures and animations for further editing. Love the way Amberlight works, I am not a big fan of fractal software (never really had a chance to dive deep into it) but Amberlight caught me with its beautiful interface and results that produces. There are many sliders and buttons which you can click or edit and play with the final look. I love the gradients list and the possibility of creating my own. Timeline is simple and I was able to create some animations with it - but still need to train a lot lol

The user interface is intuitive. You can pick the number of fields you want on the canvas then manipulate each field to change position, force, intensity, & cut-off. You can modify colors using gradients or solids. You can import images and build your particle fields on a separate layer with full control over layer opacity and even a few blending modes. You can also export with a transparent background for compositing in other applications. You are also able to create custom sized canvas. I am just blown away by the beauty it creates and can only highly recommend this wonderful app!

Easy to use interface You can easily create beautiful art results and pictures - basically everything you create with this app is just wonderful and can be called art! I love trying all the color, scene and gradients possibilities Ability to open images as a second layer as well as the export with alpha channel is great for further work in PS

Ability to add more layers in the future updates would be much appreciated
Summary
I'm literally staring at Amberlight exploring all the endless possibilities of what you can create with this app. All the options and colors that you can pick. I had to force myself to stop after several hours- It is great!!! I love it because of it's amazing results, and because it is a lot of fun to experiment with the app.
