• Very Impressive music Converter.

  Pros

  Very well made tool. I figured out how to use it without reading any manual or instructions, so it is very user friendly. Searching for the tunes that I wanted to convert was easy.

  Cons

  ALMOST A 5 STAR PROGRAM. I could not give it the Fifth Star, because they did not include the XM music format. There are still some games out there that use XM format music for background music. It also needs an option to soften the music.

  Summary

  If you do not need a way to convert music to the XM format, and you do not need to soften the background music for games with no music volume control, then this may be the PERFECT music converter for you. I however am still looking for that 5 star Music Converter that meets all of my needs.

  Pros

  Alt Converter works well. converts cda, wav and other files easily into MP3 and other files formats. Reliable. Does what it's supposed to do.

  Cons

  No cons really. I haven't noticed any adaware or anything unwanted.

  Summary

  Alt Converter works well. It easily converted my Cd files into MP3 and everything works perfect and the files were all converted with no problem. Easy to use, and simple. So far I've had no problems. I would buy this program. I'm glad I tried it.

  Takes too long to register after payment.

  Summary

  The pauses and ads won't go away until the product is registered (and they're really quite annoying and time consuming), so forget about trying to convert files with this product for at least 24 hours after purchase!

  Pros

  The only good thing is that when I deleted it from my system, it didn't leave behind anything horrible.

  The first conversion produced a corrupt file. <p>Why even continue on? <p>I've just deleted it successfully from my system.

  Pros

  Works quickly, makes MP3s from WAVs in a variety of selectable sizes, and of vital importance, can accept a stack of sound files to convert in succession from just one set-up. The user's settings will apply to all of the files.

  Cons

  Big deficiency: the smallest rate at which it can convert is 32kb. Other programs have rates as low as 8kb, which is a lot more ideal when you have a voice file that you want to upload to the internet so that others can download it quickly even on a dial-up. Other than that, as is acknowledged in the description, unregistered users have to wait a few seconds and click a "continue" button between each file of a multi-file rip session. Even this doesn't detract from the excellence of the results. (And besides, a clever programmer can use a mouse-click macro utility to automatically click away those "continue" popups.)

  - Pretty fast (despite short wait time between files in the trial version) <p>- Can do multiple files at once <p>- Worked (some other reviewers had issues, but it worked fine for me)

  - UI was a little bland, it could turn some people off; but this is purely aesthetic <p>- Didn't see a way to cancel/halt the procedure in the middle of converting multiple files; this may be nice to add eventually

  its fast, can create a convert list and converts the major audio file types

  It crashes every so many minutes, it crashes when you try to convert over 12 files at the same time and sometimes audio files get damaged (last 30 seconds are gone). Don't buy this as long as the demo doesn't work perfectly

  It looks good.. the interface is inviting.

  It wouldn't do a thing. I tried all day and all it would do is freeze and crash before finnishing even one file!
