After setting up the first settlement the council of the eldar sends out a patrol to explore this vast planet. As the patrol moves along the land it finds a path through shady woods, forced to climb hills and mountain tops. They stumble on a road leading to the ruins of a former ancient civilization. Massive structures sunk into the ground and covered with vegetation made it impossible to pick them up with the planet scan. As they explore the ruins, they find fresh footprints on the ground. Evidence that the humans are not the only one on this planet.
