Excellent FPS in the old school tradition of Quake

Anti-lag is amazing Graphics are awesome, but still able to perform on my built in GFX ITX box at a solid 60FPS. Great community

Summary
If you long for the old days when you could pick up a weapon and just blast something, this is your game. with DM you can be your sneaky old self and fire off 5 homing rockets, whilst chasing your enemy into them. Good clean fun without having to get a 6 month learning curve, like some of these new games.

Pros
A lot of fun to play. Bots are a little cheesy but the detail in them is outstanding. Difficult to master which is a good thing...keeps the game interesting and you don't find yourself in a rut.
Cons
No way to save a game so you can pick up where you left off at a later time. Starting over at the beginning does get old after a while.
Summary
Definetely worth a download. Like some of the other reviewers have said, it is very addictive and you'll be killin' bots into the wee hours of the morning!

Fantastic first person shooter. I really like the retro style. Great and friendly community, always helpful. A lot maps and modes. What do you need more?

Pros
Well organized, dedicated, friendly community that's attentive and competent. Well balanced game, with a variety of mutators to play with. Tons of servers all over the world. Plays well at high ping, plays well at low ping. Clever, challenging CTF bots. Awesome eye candy every where you look - fantastic maps. Last, and probably the most incredible feature of all - absolutely free! Now how can you beat that?
Cons
Can't really think of any... unless you don't like having friends and fun at the same time?
Summary
I've been playing this game for a few years. I've played other games, and I keep coming back to this one. I've run my own servers, my own clan, contributed source code to the project, contributed maps, and all sorts of other things. Everything about it (from play to everything) has been rewarding and enormously valuable. If you pick one game to try this year... it should be this one.

Pros
Funny little aliens like in "Mars attacks". Nice graphics. In servers not too far away it runs very smoothly. The irc community is very friendly and helpful.
Cons
Very addictive. Sometimes capture the flag games are unbalanced, it's the mentality of the players to maintain balanced teams, usually it's not a problem.

Pros
The constant improvement of the game. Graphics are better than almost all FPS that I have seen. Majority of the Community is talkative and friendly. Has support in IRC and Forums for any issue/question you may have. Many modes to choose from, DM-Deathmatch, CTF-Capturetheflag, and others. Just have to try it out to find your forte of the game.
Cons
Main con that sticks out is, the new &/or lower skilled players that call foul/cheat when they just plain stink at how they play..example, look at first comment about this game. Second con isn't a terrible con, but when first learning its a tad difficult to learn some maneuvers without a nifty manual. How to strafe, gun jumping to name a few. But the basics are easy to see when you look in the game options, customize controls section. You will see which keys do what for basic maneuvers.
Summary
Game is Great..a Blast to blow off some steam of the daily grind. Very few Adults act like Children here. If you have questions the community will help answer your inquiry. Not just one style of play, if you get bored easy in one setting there are other modes of play to choose from.

Dynamic gameplay, exceptional graphics with lots of visual effects (but still scalable and able to run on older hardware on lower settings), diversity of maps and game modes, helpful community (forum and IRC).
