Aldelo KDS (Kitchen Display System) empowers restaurants' kitchen and bar streamline production operations without the need of kitchen and bar printers. Instead, Aldelo KDS seamlessly integrates with Aldelo's state of art restaurant point of sale solutions, and displays orders for production on one or more iPads for a paperless experience.Aldelo KDS replaces kitchen and bar printers, saving the cost of printing hardware, kitchen network wiring, printer ribbons, and printer papers. Instead, Aldelo KDS utilizes one or more iPad or iPad mini as the order production display in the kitchen and bar. Aldelo KDS supports both traditional order displays as well as consolidated item based displays. In addition, Aldelo KDS can support expeditor mode as well. Aldelo KDS offers the "smart" kitchen production experience.Aldelo KDS can support one, twenty, or more iPads for the kitchen and bar display, and depending on the routing setup of the POS software, each display output could render its own station's production items. This achieves the same kitchen printing capabilities of order splits amongst different printers.Each of the KDS display can be setup individually as Traditional Mode, Consolidated Mode, or Expeditor Mode. When operating in traditional mode, user can view orders with customizable grid layout, each representing a complete order to make. When operating in consolidated mode, user can view like items in similar time threshold for faster production. When operating in Expeditor mode, user can treat that station as the expeditor, where items appear on KDS display when it has been bumped off from the other KDS stations.Aldelo KDS only requires the iPad or iPad mini to operate, and does not require separate bump bar or other KDS hardware or wired network. Aldelo KDS enables a cleaner kitchen technology experience, without all the wires and bulky hardware where food and drinks are produced.(Note: A computer is required in order to install the integration service so that Aldelo KDS and Aldelo's restaurant point of sale software may communicate seamlessly. Additionally, WIFI access in the kitchen or bar is required)
