• Don't Purchase!

  Pros

  Trial download that doesn't do anything and requires you to purchase full version for $70 (at the time of this writing). It is expensive, didn't work, slow tech support times, refused a refund, and my emails have been ignored by the company. Overall, very frustrating waist of time and money. I had a horrible experience with this faulty product, ridiculously slow tech support response times, and continued battle to recover a refund. I purchased FoneLab after accidently deleting 5 text conversations from my Galaxy Note 8 as the program stated it could recover these messages by rooting my phone. The trial download appeared to work, but in order to restore my lost messages I had to purchase the full product for $70. I did and followed every instruction to the letter, multiple times, over a period of 2hrs and was unable to restore the lost data.

  Cons

  It was clear that one of the rooting programs was not working, so I requested assistance from online support, which is the only option available. I finally received a response from tech support at 4am Sunday morning, over 49hrs after requesting help, they informed me that I needed to root my phone. Well duh, this is what their program had promised to do and the reason why I purchased it. I accepted my lost data and requested a full refund. Another 2 days passed before I received a response. I was informed that due to FoneLab's policy, I would not receive a refund, but was offered a $20-$30 single program without additional charge. After reviewing the fine print in Aiseesoft's policy, it appears that I do qualify for a full refund, but it has now been 7 days without a response from support and I feel it necessary to warn anyone else seeking to use this program of my negative experience.

  Summary

  It is unacceptable to delay offering support for over 2 days, when the program instructions state that time is of the essence. It is unacceptable to offer a $20-$30 replacement program for a $70 purchase that did not work. Who in their right mind would be interested in using additional products from a company that ignores support requests and sells expensive faulty programs without a refund? Not me! At the time of this writing, it has been just over a week since I purchased FoneLab, which did not work as stated, and I continue to be ignored by support for my refund request. So, if you feel like flushing a bunch of cash and time down the toilet, then by all means throw your money away on Aiseesoft's FoneLab.

  Pros

  None, really. It will recover data from your device if you manually deleted data, that's about it. It advertises that it will recover data from your phone itself (as opposed to iTunes/iCloud) but this is the only scenario in which this is true. It will NOT recover from factory reset.

  Cons

  Product will NOT recover any data from factory reset. It will recover from iTunes backup or iCloud backup, but in that case there is no need for this product because you could simply use iTunes or iCloud for said backup and thus product is a waste of money. If you think that this product will recover data from the device itself due to factory reset or other reformatting, it will NOT. The website states that it will. But in the company's own words, "the rate of recovery from reset is "the lowest rate to data recovery". The online support is also a joke. They don't respond for days and when they do they pretty much say 'sorry it didn't work out'. They also won't refund your purchase for pretty much any circumstances. Read the refund policy first. Or save yourself the pain and time and avoid this company altogether!!

  Summary

  Product is a total waste. Claims to recover data three ways. From iTunes backup (for which you do not need this product), from iCloud backup (for which you do not need this product), from the device itself. And this last option is essentially not true. It will only work if you've manually deleted data and want it back. It WILL NOT recover due to factory reset or any other such reformatting. Company will admit this but it is not stated anywhere on their website. Website product description is purposefully misleading. Don't trust reviews on their site, but feel free to check independent reviews other places like amazon. You'll see I'm far from the only person completely burned by this unethical company. AVOID at all costs. Save your money.

  After extensive online research, I downloaded the trial version and to my delight, FoneLab seemed to be able to locate the deleted texts I had hoped to restore, as well as many other data and asset types. Somewhat assured and hopeful, I pulled the trigger on the Full Version... only to find that all it could recover (from scan your iOS device mode) was Safari bookmarks!!! I reinstalled the software multiple times, wondering if this was some sick joke. The trial version doesn't actually let you recover any data but has a robust search... The full version greys out all options other than Safari bookmarks, which is useless. I just wrote support@aiseesoft.com for my money back. Buyer beware... I'm not sure why other reviewers had had such different results. Mine is an iPhone 5s and I've done iTunes backups as recently as Dec 2016, but FoneLab's interfaced claimed I had done zero.

  Pros

  I love everything that your company puts out. Even if I don't know how to use some of them. It is evident that compared to other iphone data recovery software, that your company tries to make everything as user-friendly as possible.

  Pros

  It can recognize my iPhone 6 correctly and easily recover my deleted contacts, messages, call history etc. If you have backup your device file with iTunes before, you can also recover your deleted files from iTunes backup files.

  Pros

  I made a big mistake by removing photos about my mother which are very important to me. I was crazy until I get this iPhone data recovery softare. It helps me get everything back from my iPhone 6 Plus. Thanks for this amazing invention.

  Cons

  Helps me a lot even though it can only recover the thumbnail of the image. Hope your program can recover the original image.

  Works great as a life-saver. Thanks for that I should get back the Contacts, Reminder and Notes from my iPhone 5S about my client. They are so important to a businessman like me. Extremely helpful.

  Pros

  As the mobile phone is stolen, all my useful info has lost. Thanks to found this excellent software. I regained all my data such as photos, contacts, messages and notes, etc. I am very grateful to encounter such a powerful program.
