It can edit text in an inept cluncky way. Upload docs and pdf's to an exisiting website.
Cons
In the edit setting it works along the same lines as a word processing program back in the 80s. Constant script errors which never go away in the veiw setting. No support or help. Tutorial web page is nothing like a real web page. They want money for this? What a joke! If it was freee I'd be looking for something else.

I would not wish the stress this program has caused me upon anyone. This severely underdeveloped, bug ridden, inoperable piece of **** software should have never seen the light of day. Imagine not being able to do something as simple as CENTERING TEXT without wasting ten minutes clicking around trying to solve this incomprehensible formatting issue. And this is just the beginning. The mock webpage Contribute shows you during the editing process is nowhere NEAR accurate and fails to be rendered similarly in ANY modern browser, rendering huge amounts of time wasted as you play a guessing game in the dark trying to get your page to show the way you want it to. Shame on you Adobe. Go WordPress, and never look back.

I upgraded to CS4. It will not allow me to publish. There is no help on any forum. It seems that this is a terminal problem. I've been trying to solve the problem for three weeks. No help. No solution. The product is now useless.
Summary
If you have CS3, stick with it. Upgrading may lead to disaster.
Comprhensive, with a low learning curve.

Summary
If you're going to do serious blogging, you should learn HTML to some degree. While this software is good for the novice, it is a workaround for needed skills, and one could easily become dependent. Still, very handy for the beginner who wants to get started quickly and has no experience.

Pros
Does a great job of allowing nontechnical users to maintain existing websites. Great program for daily maintenance and simple updates, without requiring a great deal of technical knowledge.
Cons
Requires more knowledge of web design concepts if you would like to do more advanced things with it, like adding pictures, thumbnails, etc, but that's not the real purpose of the product.

Pros
Tried to install and it took hours of install/uninstall. Tried many different things including unstalling several other programs. Went to Adobe website and the link for support didn't work - had to report it. Called Adobe and spoke with several different people who didn't help and wasted a few more hours. Finally gave up and am begging for my $150 back.
