Exchange data between FileMaker Pro and Macintosh OS X Address Book or Contacts.
The Address Book Manipulator plug-in provides a lightning fast two-way data exchange between FileMaker Pro and the Macintosh OS X Address Book or Contacts using nothing more than simple FileMaker script steps. No AppleScript or XML programming is required. However FileMaker scripting knowledge is required as the plug-in is not a "canned" solution. Developers will have the tools necessary to manipulate the Address Book directly through FileMaker Pro interface.

In addition the support provided by Productive Computing is top of the line. I have never been provided with such amazing support via email AND phone. If you have any problems just give them a call and you will be glad you did!
The plug-in however is not a pre-packeged solution as most of us Mac users would like but that is because of thenature of FileMaker. FileMaker scripts are needed to use the plug-in as you must specify your fields. If you do not know how to create FileMaker scripts or have limited knowledge, then find a developer in your area at www.filemaker.com
If you are a developer, then try the plug-in out.
Thanks Productive for providing me with the tool to link my FileMaker database and Apple Address Book!!!!

Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Nothing Pro about his new plug-in. First of all, Filemaker Pro is a powerful database, and it works because it is self-contained. This new plug in was bizarre! First of all, I had to register it online, and then it was supposed to work, for like 30 days, or for 30 minutes, whichever came first...So I signed up and I thought I had done what I was supposed to so...but I kept getting an error message that said I didn't register it...For me, software is supposed to make my life easier. The details, and registration process, and the ability to "pull" and "push" data from my address book didn't work. The arrows and nomenclature were like something out of some engineers or pharmaceutical consultant's drawing room...complete with arrows and non-functioning prognoses...
duuhhhh...why not must make it simple???? and pretty, cause FileMaker Pro is simple and pretty!
