  None. This is adware.

  Cons

  How did this get installed on my computer? I am VERY careful about what I install and only install known safe programs and never allow the adware addons to install. I am absolutely flabberghasted that something like this was running on my machine--AND CONCERNED. It's adware/spyware/malware, plain and simple. It got installed through stealth.

  Summary

  May such companies go bankrupt and rot in hell.

  Not sure how it got on my computer! I am usually pretty careful when searching and downloading stuff, but this appeared. I am thinking it came with youtube downloader, but not positive.

  BROWSER WAS HIJACKED I do not understand where all these 5star reviews are from i installed only to have my browser hijacked to open new pages with bing and my usual search engines replaced with only bing this is fraud the title says ad aware but you get hit by ads installing this, before even activating it , wasting my time to fix the issues

  There is a constant popup advertizing their complete package ... that is NOT FREE it fraudulent advertizing..

  When ANY company is fraudulent you cannot trust them in your PC!

  Pros

  Web security is always on the browser so almost everything I do online is checked. The rest, is caught by Ad-aware. The 2 combined means I'm always protected.

  Not a thing.

  Pros

  I use my computer for work all day long, cannot afford to lose my information to malware so together with my antivirus and web companion Ive steered clear of all online threats this far.

  Cons

  I don't want to leave all my web surfing to chance, so because my antivirus doesn't cut it for internet explorer I want that extra insurance only web companion provides.

  Pros

  None that I can see.

  Cons

  It was installed involuntarily as part of the Ad-Aware removal tool (general check no adware found). ESET identified it as a variant of Win32/Packed.Komodia.A, a potentially unwanted application - unable to clean. It seems to behave in the same way as the AdWare it is trying to stop so I tried uninstalling as my browsers would hang the PC for several minutes. Uninstall left LavasoftTcpService.dll behind and registry entries, Browsers won't function properly without the file.

  Summary

  Uninstallable Adware, Own Goal IMHO and left me with a headache of an uninstall task.

  Pros

  Not much out there offers antiphishing but nothing out there warns you if another program it trying to change my search provider or home page.

  Cons

  It's only got a few features and each one of them are executed well.

  Summary

  The only free antiphishing software that also protects my browser from unauthorized changes.
