• Couldn't detect my network card

  They get a big thumbs up for rapid response to my questions. Installs and uninstalls easily and cleanly.

  Couldn't get their software to detect my network card.

  Summary

  From what I saw, this would have been a good software utlity to have but on the computer I needed it on, they couldn't help me get it to recognize the network card. Their final suggestion was to install it on another computer which would have defeated the reason I needed the software in the first place. They were very responsive to all my questions and I feel they did give an honest effort to help me but it would have been nice if they had something to help identify why their software had the problem. Even if it was a cryptic analysis file that I had to send to them. I mean, after all, Windows knew there was a network card. Bottom line: I wish it would have worked.

  Interesting utility - definitely interested in checking it out.

  Cons

  One problem - The version here lists 3.0 yet if you go to the company website - it claims onlt v2.0 has been released.

  Summary

  Be wary of this version - go to the company website to download an original as they list that the only version out is version 2 not 3.

  Pros

  I recently installed active wall and so far this program is great! It does exactly what I need it to do, without the security risk and investment in a proxy server as all I really need to do is monitor the bandwidth/traffic from each pc.

  Cons

  No cons for it.

  It can work on Vista. Please close UAC before installing.

  Driver from software not compatible with server 2003 SP2 R2, after a 1 - 2 days connection issues and slow reaction to commands

  Help was in chinese even after dl'ing fonts & a lot of other stuff.Did not match Windows XP drivers. Wouldnt let me log on, authors site no help either. finally just uninstalled
