• Poor software design. I expected better.

  Summary

  Took a while to figure out why it wasn't recognizing my burner. Turns out that it can't handle a burner assigned to the B: drive letter. Now, I understand few people would set up their drive like that, or even know how to change drive letters in Windows, but the fact that something this simple breaks functionality implies poor software design internally. Bad coding assumptions and little testing of varying configurations. Even once I got it running, I quickly found that if the erasing process is interrupted for any reason, the program will stop and report a SUCCESS. There are no error messages, and certainly no useful ones. This all indicates a program that was hastily slapped together by some junior developer and tossed online. Even a simple program like this deserves a bit more care.
