  A-PDF is a very powerful piece of software that has huge proven potential to save many many hours of laborious work to manually split larger pdf documents into smaller documents. This software did all the tasks I required to split three seperate batch pdf documents, all with different split tags at various points within the document. The preview window before splitting is also very handy to check that the split has successfully done its job before exporting the PDF's. This software is the most effective compared to others which have I have tried. A definite worthy purchase! I have also used the customer support and they are quick to respond so you also have the comfort that you will get the help you need if a time ever arises for it. All in all its a fantastic piece of software!

• I wonderful tool

  Pros

  I downloaded the trial version and was really impressed in how it helped me split a large report based text. Every week I spend 2.5 or so hours splitting a file so I can email portions of the report to various coworkers that need them. This thing split the file in 30 seconds. It also named each file exactly as I needed them.

  Cons

  I really have no cons to report regarding the product itself.

Most would rather make an employee suffer the manual labor rather than pay but the product itself is fantastic. I think it should come standard with pdf software. I'm sure mine isn't the only job that requires splitting a pdf.

  A-PDF Content Splitter 4.8.4 is an extremely powerful and very easy to use software that you can split your pdf files into the pages according to your needs and wishes. Moreover, by using Pascal script you can very easily name the splitted files however you want which is impressed me very much with this feature. I strongly recommend everyone who want to split and rename his/her pdf files.

  Pros

  Incredibly flexible. We can specify text to determine where documents begin and end. We can extract text from the document and use it to name the file. There is a scripting ability to manipulate the extracted text such as removing spaces, converting hexadecimal to letters, etc. There is a scripting ability to validate the extracted text to make sure it is truly a number or a date, etc. There is a command-line version that we can use for automated batch processing.
