Wondershare AllMyTube lets you download videos from a wide variety of Web sites and convert them to play on other devices. While there are many programs that facilitate downloading, it's the extra features this app provides that really set it apart from the rest of the pack.
Pros
Great interface: This app has a great interface that clearly presents all of the tools you need to take full advantage of this program. Along the side of the screen, you can always see how many videos are currently downloading, how many have finished, and how many are currently being converted.
Mobile transfer: After a conversion, transferring a video to your mobile device couldn't be easier. In fact, you don't even have to attach your device to your computer. Just scan the QR code that the app creates to begin the transfer process.
Integrated browser: You can add clips by copying and pasting their URL into the app, but you can also browse the Web right from the app, itself. If you choose to search this way, you'll enjoy the added benefit of a Download button right in the browser. Just click it to start the process, and then keep browsing.
Cons
Hidden help: There is a decent Help feature available for this app, but it's quite hard to find. In fact, it's one option available in a menu that you can access through a tiny icon in the upper right-hand corner of the interface. Selecting this option takes you to a Web page that lists all of the company's products, and you have to find the appropriate manual for this program.
Bottom Line
Wondershare AllMyTube is a versatile and complete program that gives you all of the functionality that you want in a streamlined package. It's free to try with some limits, and the full version costs $29.
