Windows Hosts File Editor

The Hosts File Editor tool was designed to make editing your hosts file in Windows 7 as easy as possible. Due to the UAC, opening this file in notepad requires that notepad be started with admin permissions every time. This tool automatically requests the necessary permissions to open the hosts file and then launches it. In addition, this software makes it simple to open your hosts file by simply typing "hosts" into the start bar on Windows 7. This will filter the applications list to show this software. Then just hit return and your hosts file is open and ready for editing.
