  Summary

  I had an issue in the game "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3" for Steam where none of the videos would play in-game, but the files worked fine in Windows Media Player. I have no idea why, and neither did BNEA, but their advice was for me to do a "quick google search for Windows Codecs and to reinstall them," which led me to this. It worked, I'm happy, and that's all there is to it.

• Screws up all the blu ray players I tried

  Summary

  Installed these codecs before installing an internal blu ray drive on my system. Installed the drive and tried using 4 different blu ray players. They all failed. Removed these codecs and now everything is working normally playing blu ray discs with the bundled SW. Cyberlink Power DVD

  Haven't played all the file types that it supports, but it plays the common video files without problems. That includes AVI, MPEG and WMVs.

  Pros

  I had about 4 or 6 other programs installed for .flv, div, .avi etc, but this is just remarkable, it contains every codec in existence! I recommend this program to every windows user, even if they are not tech smart.
