Excellent Free Program
chwh66h- Pros
- Really speed up my LAN broadband internet connection. I have tried numerous internet booster progams. This program really works and it is free.
- Cons
- In order to speed up internet connection, you must change RWIN and TTL to the recommended values. There is no clear instructions in the program to change the values. If you use the default values, there is not much improvement in speed.
- Summary
Works but Net Eagle is better.
Zane77- Pros
- Web Speeder is simple and easy to use. It has three types of internet connections, Dial-Up, Home Cable Access, and Other LAN Access. <p>Supports Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. Select your internet connection type, operating system, click apply settings, and restart your computer. Now it will optimize the amount of receive information of the receive window, and optimize the TTL settings.
- Cons
- Web Speeder can't optimize maximum transfer unit, and doesn't support Windows Vista. Net Eagle supports Windows Vista, has more internet connection types, and will optimize maximum transfer unit.

Good program, helps out a lot
gamerguy78- Pros
- Helped make my internet run a fair bit faster by tweaking some settings. Help is good, and explained what each option does. Worth trying out if you think your internet is slower than it should be.
- Cons
- The link at the top of the software doesn't work. Also you have to reboot the computer for the new settings to take affect.
