  Totally uninformative interface. This program (SE version) used to come free with an earlier version of Ulead Video Studio as a bonus program. It should be included with Corel ProVS4 (horrible, horrible name, Corel) free. I got it to work but never figured out the process and seems to be much more complicated than needed to get simple 3D effects. Corel has screwed up the Video Studio brand The Ulead versions had more content but did need to be upgraded t work with HD and faster processors.

  Summary

  15 days is to short a time to evaluate this. Even the greedheads at Adobe give you 30 day trials.

  This program is really awesome. I love being able to edit the particle effects , and shapes .

  I love the product , the trial version does not include enough plug ins and you cannot down load Plug in Madness from Corel .

  This product is awesome. It is easy to use and has several effects ,and plug- ins that you can edit to suit your own needs. Ulead Cool 3D Production Studio allows you to make a quality production whether you are a beginner or an expert!

  Great for video titles with a vast selection of the effects and once you learn the program it can do most anything imaginable with titles. For video It takes a long time to render and uses a lot of resources but that can be expected for what it does. Read the help files and play with it for awhile and you'll be surprised at what you can. For photo files and web animation the program is fast.

  Cons

  it is very slow with video especially if you are using a lot of objects or effects but I haven't found anything that does what it does.

  Usually in an oversimplified format, the ulead products yield oversimplified results. You can produce professional looking results with other software makers. Ulead just doesn't have what it takes to help you do your best work.
