I recently purchased a new IPOD TOUCH from an Apple store. Told the 'expert' that we needed to transfer all our recorded music (that we downloaded from our cds---7,879 songs!)from our IPOD CLASSIC. he said"oh, no problem. Connect to Itunes, yada yada...." BULL CRAP!
After wasting hours, and 2 LONG phone calls to Apple Techs and a Supervisor, we were told there was no way to do it.
Then I remembered that I had purchased Touchcopy a few years ago when we had an issue with a different ipod. I updated to Touchcopy16, it worked like a dream!!!! THANK YOU!!!! I called Apple back and told them that this software should be recommended to all their classic owners (and that store experts and techs needed to be re-trained).

Works like a champ.
I have over 9,000 songs on my iPod. This program copied every one of them to my PC. It took about five hours but did a great job.
I saved them to an external hard drive for security.
Buy this software, works great!

Everything was easy and went without a hitch. Product downloaded and installed in a snap. Once installed, the program was easy to navigate and provided me the ability to retrieve music, photos and videos from my iPhone to computer quickly. I would totally recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in my position, where iTunes was nearly lost following a hard drive crash. It is well worth the price.

TouchCopy was very good for uploading all my songs from my iPod onto my new computer - it done it very quickly and efficiently which I was pleased at. I've used it once before, on my old laptop when it had just been bought, and was exactly the same then as well.
Cons
The only con to it this time is the fact that all my songs have numerous small jumps in the audio whenever I listen to them on my computer, even though they aren't there on my iPod.
Summary
Overall, it's worth the money as it saves the long process reacquiring all your songs etc. one by one, but this time it made the audio quality quite poor.
If anyone knows any solutions to sort out the audio jumps caused by this, please let me know! I'd really appreciate it.

I was trying to update my iPhone to the new iOS8 but because of all my songs and photos, I didn't have enough memory to do it. I searched online for a solution and found touchcopy and tried the trial version. The trial version allowed for a 100 song transfer and the process went pretty smoothly. I decided to buy the full version to transfer all my songs and I'm pleased to say that it did not disappoint. It automatically backed up all my music and photos on my phone to my computer which allowed me to make room for the iOS8 update. Just what I needed!

Super Easy to Use. Copy to Itunes, Copy to PC and Backup are buttons at the top. I bought Copytran first because it was the more popular one but I could not figure out how to make a backup which is the primary thing that I wanted. All my music was on my ipod classic which was making me nervous. Seems like Copytran is not designed for that. Went back to the User guide over and over to no avail. Downloaded Touchcopy and it was point, click, done. My music is now SAFE. Plus I actualy like itunes and Touchcopy lets me back up to itunes as well.
Cons
None. More expensive than Copytran but since I just downloaded them both because I could not figure out Copytran, I wish I had tried Touchcopy first. Can you tell that I am a little bitter.
Summary
I used an old copy of Touch Copy years ago and liked it then. Now, after trying a new program, I will be sticking with Touchcopy. Another plus which I seemed to have missed out from before is that now I can download to 3 computers. Dont have to keep buying. Hurrah

After my iPhone started acting up, I thought I would lose all everything that was on it. I had a lot of important information on there for both school and work. Luckily, I managed to find TouchCopy, which saved the day. It took me no time at all to recover my files. I was able to get everything off my iPhone - my music, playlists and even text messages, voice mails, and photos. It was very easy to operate which I found to be very useful.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to retrieve important iPhone files, I found it well worth the money.
