The Download Now link will prompt a local download of the Google Chrome extension. To install the extension directly, open the file using your Chrome browser.
The Next Web alerts you when, and tells you how many, new articles are published on The Next Web within the topics you like. Clicking on an article title opens it in a new tab. Use the Options Panel to select the topics for which you would like to receive alerts.
