TeleStory for iOS

TeleStory lets you create your own TV show with one of the built-in themes, and then record as many different stories or episodes as you want. You can even create a free account to upload and share your creation with other users, and you can watch shows that they've created as well.

Pros

Themes and costumes: There are four different main themes you can use for the show you create, and that can help to give you a general framework on which to build your story. These include Space Adventure, Eye Spy, The Band, and News Anchor, and each lets you also choose from several different costumes for the various characters you and your friends may want to portray.

Clear interface: The app's interface is clear and colorful, with easy and intuitive navigation built in. Everything works just the way you expect it to, minimizing frustration for even the youngest users.

Cons

Crashes: The app did crash several times during our testing. It started right back up again with no problems. But if this had happened in the middle of a recording, we would have run the risk of losing some of our work.

Bottom Line

TeleStory is designed mainly for kids, and it offers a great way to channel creative energy into a tangible and publishable end product. Its Themes and Costumes make it even easier to immerse yourself in the story, and the intuitive controls make the app accessible to users of all ages and experience levels.
