This is especially appropriate for class papers. The Guide includes notes on using abbreviations in your text, as well as compound words, quotations, numbers, and punctuation. Page layouts show where to set margins, how to use headings, format text pages, tables, and reference lists. The reference style sheet explains how to format references to 40 different research sources. The heavily annotated text navigates like a Web site, but adds the formatting precsion of the Windows Help Reader already installed on your system. The Guide may also be printed. It runs to about 30 pages.
