The Windows start-up process can become painfully slow over time, as more and more programs add themselves to the automatic start-up list. This download helps manage that process, letting users add new programs to the list and block unwanted ones. The first process is handled fairly simply, although adding new start-up programs can also be easily done within Windows itself. The tools for handling unwanted programs leave much to be desired, however. The utility gives no hints as to whether a particular application is useful or not, and has no alarm process when malware manages to install itself on the computer. The 10-day trial period is a bit stingy, in our minds. With a number of full-featured start-up managers on the market, many of which go much further in protecting computers from digital parasites, we would recommend users look elsewhere.
