Pros

Two categories: When you copy items to Spartan Portable, they'll appear in a list on the left-hand side of the interface. This list is temporary, and eventually older clips will drop off the bottom as new clips are added. If there are items you don't want to lose, however, you can drag and drop them into the column on the right-hand side of the app, which is for permanent storage.

Sneak peek: No matter how long or large a clip is, it appears in the list as just a short line of text or description. In order to see what you're really selecting without pasting an item first, you can just hover your mouse over a line in the app, and a pop-up window will appear, displaying the full clip.

Cons

Free limits: The free version of this app only has one permanent column for you to store items you want to have ongoing access to. To get more, you'll have to upgrade to one of the paid options, which start at $29.99.

Bottom Line

This is a good clipboard extension app. It runs smoothly, has an intuitive interface, and comes with a very helpful Tutorial. Even the free version has plenty of functionality, and it gives you the opportunity to try out the program to see if you'd like to invest in one of the more powerful upgrades.
