Sothink Logo Maker 3.5 provides all the necessary elements and tools you need to quickly design great-looking logos. You can either start from a clean sheet of paper or launch and modify one of the many available templates.

Pros

Quick learning curve: Completely self-explanatory, Sothink Logo Maker's interface allows even novice users to start designing logos right away. Within 10 minutes we had a good idea of the menus, and 30 minutes later we had completed logos that looked clean and professional.

Number of options: It's hard to find a subject, shape, or effect not covered by the available resources. The import function also works fine, but without covering that many formats.

Professional results for low cost: Sothink Logo Maker 3.5 can truly deliver pro-level results at the low cost of $35. It can literally save you or your company hundreds of dollars from expensive software or external graphic design services that demand intensive interaction while providing similar results.

Cons

High-end logo design: Elaborate logo designs that require structured layer effects and possibly work on a tablet are too advanced for this app.

Not the industry standard: Heavy-hitting Adobe or Corel suites leave little room for entry. If you wish to design logos professionally for others, customers will very likely demand that you use one of the more popular applications.

Good for beginners but not for pros

Summary
It's a good software but don't think it will deliver stunning icons. It's OK but nothing more. If you want to create some icons and banners for non-commercial websites feel free to use this software.

Pros
Easy to start on basic logos. If you logo does not contain many graphic images the software will work very well.
Cons
I found it relatively hard to modify included more complex shapes.

Works as advertised, safe download. Definitely recommended.

Simple interface, easy to produce quality results. Insertion of flash file elements was an interesting touch.
Cons
Would benefit from a larger inventory of reference samples to work from (the trial version had a total of only 369 templates to work from)

From the first I had this program as a giveaway after buy, but it was some years ago. I had no professional skills, but I spent some evening for studing this program and was very surprised that it can do and how easy!!!!! It simply wow! It can be used not only for logo designing, also it can do the greatest html banners, beautiful text, cool text parts for websites, decoration elements for the websites and banners and it is not yet what you can do with this program. Really recommend it! Try it and you can see how it is wonderful is!!!!

I need to create logos all the time for my website design business and Sothink's logo maker is an easy and quick way to do just this. With the preset templates you can creat the perfect logo for your business in less than 5 minutes. If you want to design your own logo, you can easily do that as well with many graphics, designs, shapes and color schemes to try from. You can also easily adjust the size of your logo to use it for many different applications. For example you can create the perfect size logo for your ad, then create a new sized logo for your website header, and then even reduce it to the size required for a favicon. The best part is that you can create your logo without a background to ensure it can easily be placed in whatever medium you need to place it. Removing a background can be a time consuming process and being able to have a transparent background is a great plus. If you need to design logos quick and easy then check this software out.
Cons
Took a little bit of time to figure out how to use it effectively but that was the only drawback that I found.

Easy to use, great pre-configured effects. Automated auto replace for pre-loaded clip arts resources. Best of all I can use this as replacement for creating all my logos on a easy way, and not having to learn Adobe Photo Shop

Able to tilt and rotate all images. 4 layers of workspace and translucency tools. a portfolio of pre-designed sophisticated graphics organized by theme and hundreds of choices of more generic symbols to make universal signage.

output is saved Proprietary File type.(trial version) I'm not sure if work can be saved in other formats in paid version. but still can be saved with a screen capture tool for use in other programs.
