Sony Movie Studio 13 Platinum (64 bit) for Windows

What The Community Is Saying

• The Highs

Nothing positive comes up in the threads checked; the discussion is entirely people working through crashes and confusion about who supports the product now.

• The Lows

The most common technical complaint is that rendering crashes immediately on advanced options, traced by different users to missing runtime components, a non-system install drive, or a dialog-order quirk in the render settings. Separately, people are frustrated that ownership moved to another company years ago, leaving them unable to register or find real updates, with old serial numbers no longer accepted.

• The Verdict

Expect real setup friction, including a known advanced-render crash and confusing support now that the product has changed hands.
