  Gives a quick visual overview of how much space each file and directory uses. Can show a subset of the tree, show only directories or only folders, show MP3 info, on and on. You can print the tree, export it, or save it.

  When you scan a big drive with a few hundred thousand files, it can take a minute or two, but it's worth the wait.

  Summary

  The coolest thing it that it uses thermometer bars to give you a quick visual overview of how much space each file and directory uses, so you see at a glance exactly what is eating up all your disk space. You can configure the display, use filters to show a subset, show only directories or only folders, show MP3 info--the list goes on and on. Then, you can export the tree to a bunch of different formats, and you can also save the tree for re-use. And of course, you can print the tree or your selected subset, with whatever data columns you've chosen. I've used this app for many years, and it just keeps getting better.

  STG FolderPrint is great to move file structures into Excel for listings like Bills of Materials. It haves hundreds or thousands of keystrokes and the errors that always come with manual data entry. I couldn't live without it. <p> <p>It is another example of utilities that MicroSoft should have thought about before the glizt of Vista

  Used since version 2.0. Trouble free. Consistent updates. If you ever have a need to print a directory tree or specific file types regardless of their location, Folderprint Plus can't be beat. Export features are really nice.

  This was the first program of its kind to allow the home user and IT professional network administrator the ability to view and print the Windows hierarchy of folders and files. Not only will it graphically display the size of a hard drives folders, sub folders and files, it will also allow you to selectively print the information you desire in any format you wish. You select the data that what you want to see on screen and then select what you want printed out in any format. It will also export the information to other formats. <p> <p>Additionally, (and we find this is extremely helpful) FPP is very useful in graphically determining file or folder sizes, therefore allowing us to determine what we call ?space hogs? on a particular Hard drive or the network. <p> <p>The program could not be more intuitive or user friendly. My 9 year old son used it to find out which files were taking up so much space on his hard drive and slowing it down. He then printed the list out so he could reorganize his files and move some to a CD. <p> <p>Again, we have found Folder Print Plus to be an excellent product since we started using it in 2002. Although others have tried to duplicate his work since its becoming so popular, none can keep up with FPP functionality, ease of use, and constant improvements. <p> <p>RGM

  We are in a medical research lab and use FolderPrint Plus to easily print the contents of our CDs onto the Covers. We haven't found anything so far it can't handle quickly and easily.

  Pros

  I can easily share exported folder layout displays. I really like the file type count report too. The company always sends me update links by email without me having to ask. It has never failed to run properly. It's very easy to install and re-install if you get a new computer. I needed help once and got a very effective, prompt and friendly response.

  Cons

  The navigation is a little unfamiliar to me.
