Quttera is a Malicious Content Detection System designated especially for detection malicious executable code, zero-day vulnerability exploits and shellcodes embedded into computer information and media files such as movies, images, documents and etc. Quttera implements patent pending algorithm capable of detection zero day malicious treats without any previous information (treat signature) identifying detected malware. Quttera's investigation mechanism does not rely on any signatures database but either on fully heuristic and "signature-less" detection algorithm which is able to detect previously unknown software vulnerability exploits hidden in computer media and information files before they compromise hosted computer. Version 0.3.1.0.9 adds support for Unicode name.

VIRUS-MADE MY COMP LOCK UP EVERY STARTUP!

this needs to be removed from your list imediatley! if you use it it automaticaly starts a download of another program and you cannot stop it if you do try as i did your comp never will get futher than desktop and then unresponsive forever!

it was found as a virus by every av prog I have and has been removed but somehow it still trys to log onto an unknown website in the background, i deactivated my lan and caught it but my comp is then unresponsive. mouse moves but nothing works fuc#rs

dont be fooled by the free av and the stars given by cnet who i now believe doesnt even try out any of these programs listed here anymore! I'm through with cnet and any affiliation the have to any websites do to bias and fraudulent claims in any catagory that they list. don't believe any of these ratings simply because they havent even tried any of them out (maybe some notewoprthy programs that u will have to pay for) but as for the new little ones I'm sure that many get skipped. This is about three in a row for me now and I'm sick of reinstalling my OS due to oversites on behalf of cnets ratings and postings of viruses, specially the ones that make it so you cannot get back on line to discredit them. Luckily i have 3 comps working always so i can report these progs I have only started to provide feed back recently due to the numerous problems that i have encountered from cnet downloads! use the tools available to you and read the reviews and search the programs to find out if they are viruses before you download anything, of course the newest progs will not have much listed so stay away from them enteirely!<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Dec 7, 2009<p/>it probably is scanning slow because its uploading your files to a server as it scans very trecherous program!

PROGRAM WASN'T EVEN FULLY DOWNLOADED AND SHOWED UP AS A 'TROJAN VIRUS' ON AVG ANTI VIRUS FREE, WHICH I DOWNLOADED LAST NIGHT FROM CNET. ALSO GOOGLE STOPPED IT FROM OPENING.

THIS IS BARELY A MONTH OLD AND ALREADY IT IS INFECTED!!!! SO MUCH FOR TRYING TO PROTECT YOUR PC FROM VUNERABILITIES. JUNE 24TH 2009 1:59 P.M.

the 1st 30-60 sec seemed like it might be good THEN the BAD/CONS

waste of TOO much time, stress, frustration getting rid of it! Crashed/froze my computer-for me, that is TOO big of a con - that's what I felt like - that I had just been conned.
Summary
either incompatible w/my computer [pc-xp-ie8] or it is horrible. Computer behaved as if It just had malware place in it PLUS it didn't even place itself on any of my add/remove programs. Crashed/froze computer PLUS it left behind bits and pieces of itself! after removing it I had to shut down and reboot SEVERAL times to get my computer back to PRE Quttera-very frustrating and unneccessary on their part!
