Developer's Description

The purpose of this app is to simplify calculations for pneumatic cylinders. Once the user has entered the basic dimensional parameters (bore, rod and stroke), there are a number of options on how to enter the remaining data. Cycle frequency can be entered as either cycles per minute or seconds per cycle. In order to determine the forces, user can enter air pressure, extension force, or retraction force and have the other two parameters calculated. Calculated values include:-Rod and bore side areas and volumes-Extension Force / Retraction Force / Air pressure required-Rod and bore air flow rates-Total air flow rate-Compressor power required (1, 2 or 3 stages and efficiency).Export results to the clipboard in text format from documenting, e-mailing, or messaging results.Calculations can be done in metric or imperial units.
