  The Moyea FLV software downloaded and installed fine. It sort of worked... in several attempts at capturing a youtube video, the percent captured counter kept resetting to zero. Also, of three possible capture methods, only the cut&paste URL worked at all. End result: I finally got around 60% capture (which replayed nicely with no apparent image degradation.) So after I uninstalled it... things get very slow (brand new quad-core PC), and I have to reboot. Now "Windows is unable to start." Uh-oh. Long story short- after a bunch of "fix this problem" and "threat detected" windows, diagnostics and restarts, and repairs to TWO realtime antivirus programs that Moyea had shredded, It took about an hour to get everything apparently repaired and running normally. I should mention that this was the only unfamiliar site I had been on since a full system scan a few hours earlier. A subsequent scan found over 50 malwares.

  If you're lucky, the conversion might work the way you expected

  A totally and perfectly unusable user interface. It is close to impossible to correctly and consistently instruct this program what to do. Completely indiscernible on bright-on-dark themes. Does not run at all on restricted accounts.

  Summary

  The only really positive thing to say about this program is that it "basically works". However, the way to making this program do anything is paved with roadside bombs. Beware!

  Pros

  The moyea screen icon is much more available. I find the pop-up countdown window/dialog box helpful as well. I also like the fact that it remembers the videos that I watch(puts them all in a file) without a need for a prompt.

  Cons

  It would be helpful to be able to export files to other programs, video edit etc., directly from the moyea screen and or show file location for each item.

  Summary

  As with many programs, it takes some getting used to. I find this a good capture and organizing app. for us novice users.

  Easy to use. Automatically catches flv files to download. Stable program.

  Cons

  It would have been nice if downloads could be resumed if there is an interruption. Now it starts over from the beginning again. In a few cases haven't the program been able to download from some sites.

  Summary

  A well working easy to use flv downloader for free!
