I like this tool a lot!

Pros
Easy to use, simple to configure and it saves the hassle of logging in to your web site before you write your blog entry. It's all done from your desktop.
Cons
You have to have the latest version of IE 8 installed. I had one of the earlier versions and had to reinstall to get the tools Writer needed to connect with my web site.
Summary
Live Writer is a free download, and it has all of the functionality anyone needs in a blog writing tool. I am a very happy camper.
