IYF is a portable, cross-platform utility.This means that IYF can be installed on a Pendrive and you can index, import, export, save and search all the information you need running IYF from a pendrive ( IYF Windows, Linux or Mac ). You don’t have to install it, you can run it as-is
IYF can index Windows, Linux or Mac Disk, Networks, CD, etc. It doesn't matter if it is FAT, FAT32, ExFAT, NTFS, Ext2, Ext3, Ext4, JFS, XFS, ReiserFS, APFS, APFS (Encrypted), Primary Partitions, Extended Partitions, Logical Drives, etc...
IYF indexes everything that the operating system is able to recognize
IYF can share your databases. It does not matter in which operating system the databases are created. They can be shared between Windows, Mac or Linux
