This application requires an iWitness subscription.The iWitness app turns your phone into an everyday personal safety device that provides extra security wherever you go. By capturing audio and video at the outset of any incident, sending that data to a secure server, and alerting your friends and family exactly where you are and that you feel endangered, it literally catches criminals in the act. iWitness also sounds an alarm and dials 911 at the tap of a finger, alerting the authorities and anyone nearby that you need help.With iWitness, youre never alone, even when youre by yourself.How it Works:Any time youre about to walk alone or in an unfamiliar setting, simply arm iWitness and then begin recording. The iWitness app will start capturing video and audio of your surroundings and sending that data to a secure server, along with your GPS location. At your option, a steady beam of light can also be emitted from your phone. Any time you feel endangered, touch your phones screen to put iWitness into emergency mode, and then point the camera directly at the person or situation that feels threatening. iWitness will now: - Call 911 automatically.- Sound an alarm.- Send a text/email to trusted contacts pre-chosen by you alerting them that you feel endangered, providing your GPS location, and asking them to contact you.
